Drafting letter/email for school
Drafting letter/email for school
Do you have a meeting planned with your child’s school?
Are you worried about it?
I am a Child Development Specialist, Responsive Parenting Mentor, Child Rights Advocate and Mom to 3 Neurodivergent Children who attend public school. I have been to a lot of parent-teacher meetings. Often it is just me and my husband with 4-6 other adults. I feel I’ve developed an ability to negotiate my child’s needs within the school’s limitations.
I want to share my unique skill set with other parents who may feel uncomfortable, intimidated or confused about their visit with the school. I want to reassure you, give you the confidence you need to be your child’s advocate, while having reasonable expectations for what might happen and what you can do to support your child.
Writing an email to your chikd’s school can sometimes be intimidating, especially if you have sensitive issues you want to address. The advantage to sending an email or letter is there is a written record of the questions and concerns you have brought up. I can help you create a email or letter for the school. This service is only available to those who have had private consultations.
